Northwest Bronx Community & Clergy Coalition (NWBCCC)
Founded in 1974, NWBCCC unites diverse peoples and institutions to fight for racial and economic justice through community organizing to transform the Bronx and beyond. It is a member-led, grassroots organization fighting for racial and economic justice in the Bronx.
For us, the Bronx is home. It’s where we raise families, get an education, go to work, own businesses, create art, and find spiritual connection. We are people whose families have lived here for generations. And we are people who have come here from other boroughs and countries. Our community reflects a diversity of races, ethnicities, cultures, and faith traditions. Because we are committed to building a Bronx where all of us can thrive, we use active outreach and leadership development to empower everyday people in our neighborhoods to take action around issues that impact us all.
