Michael Partis

Michael Partis is the Executive Director at the Bronx Cooperative Development Initiative. A 2008 Alumni of Fordham University, Partis is also the Co-Founder of The Bronx Brotherhood Project, a community-based college program for Black and Latino teens at the New Settlement College Access Center, as well as the former Director of South Bronx Rising Together. Having taught at numerous Universities across New York City, Partis draws upon over a decade of Educating experience to help uplift Black and Latino Voices.

Stephanie Roddy

Stephanie Roddy is currently a Volunteer for the Jesuit Corps of America in the Federated States of Micronesia. Roddy has previously been involved with various non profit organizations such as the Common Good, Jumpstart, and the Villa Firenze Foundation where she has advocated for political engagement and the betterment of unprivileged youth. She has also worked at Fordham University as an Intern for Spiritual Programs and as an University Ambassador.

Carol Gibney

Carol Gibney is the Associate Director of Campus Ministry for Spiritual and Pastoral ministries and Rose Hill director of Spiritual life and Leadership. Outside of Fordham Gibney is involved with other social justice and community service oriented projects such as the Pedro Arrupe Volunteers, of which she co-manages. In addition to her work, she is also a certified yoga instructor and offers Ignatian Yoga sessions which combine yoga and spiritual meditation.

Olga Tirado

Olga Tirado is the host of the Go Bronx Podcast, as well as the executive director of The Bronx Tourism Council (BTC), a division of the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation. Through her empowering work, Tirado, plays a fascinating role in the creation of a more cohesive and symbiotic relationship between Arts, Culture, and Economic Development in the Bronx.  She has also spearheaded a successful campaign to increase the Bronx’s exposure within International Media and marketing. 

 

Ms. Tirado is the recipient of several awards and was most recently named one of the top 25 influencers in The Bronx by City & State Magazine.

Olga Baez

Olga Baez is the founder of StriveHigher, a grassroots Non-Profit which helps under-represented students learn profound life skills, gain important career resources, and help minority kids reach their full potential. In the past she has coordinated financial Literacy Workshops for Bank of America, as well as brought Coding Classes to Bronx kids. 

 

A three-time Fordham Alumna, Baez has also worked as an Administrative Assistant at Lincoln Center since 2006.
